Howl was feeling bad-mooded and snappy, so she thought it'd be better to leave the pack's territory and go harvest some herbs. She used to keep her collected herbs in Aspen Heights den, because wolves weren't going there commonly and herbs were fresh and healthy.
She grabbed a mushroom with her teeth and pulled. Yuck! It was not tasty at all. She snarled at the mushroom just because it ruined her taste and for a moment thought about throwing it away, but decided better to keep it in the Aspen den - it might be useful. The
mushroom didn't look like a classical mushroom at all. It was light brown, and random shaped. Howl knew it'd be useful for alot of things. But the minus of a healer's work is first to
test his/her herbs on herself/himself to see what they are good for. Of course, little animals like rabbits would be useful for testing herbs too, but small animals were food, not herb testing things.
Howl sat next to the den with afew disgusting mushrooms in her teeth. She put them down and bit her paw till it bled. Thank God, nobody was looking, atleast Howl thought so. She tried mushroom for stopping bleeding - it worked
perfectly! The mushroom stopped the bleeding in a minute. Howl sighed happily and put the mushroom in the den. The den was pretty empty - just afew kinds of herbs there. So it meant alot of hard work to collect and test them. But not every herb was a real herb.
Howl sighed and laid down to rest and heal her paw. A healer's job was hard, but it was just what she wanted. She'd be Lead Scout, if she wanted to start a new life. But if she didn't want to start a new life or take a break from her old life, she'd never be in the Comet Trail Pack. Howl sighed and drifted into a light sleep.
